- Fast Trac Growth and New Venture Classes – Fast Trac is a practical, hands-on business development program designed to help hone the skills needed to create, manage and grow a successful business.
- Small Business Workshops – SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) offers free workshops for small business owners and entrepreneurs. A variety of business topics are discussed by a series of guest speakers that include business plans, accounting, marketing, banking, legal, insurance and taxes.
- Pre-Business 1:1 Counseling (SCORE) – 1:1 pre-business counseling is directed toward individuals interested in starting a business as the counselor will cover business plans, cash flow projections and other information necessary when starting a small business.
- 1:1 Business Counseling (SBDC) – Professional business counselors will be available, by appointment, to meet with aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners that are seeking extended business counseling. Great professional services available at no charge.
- IRP Loan Program – The Intermediary Revolving Loan program's primary purpose is to promote new business start-up, expansion, and/or retention projects in the Newton area. The NDC IRP Loan Fund Program is a "gap financing" program, which provides direct financial assistance to small businesses that cannot obtain reasonable financing on a conventional basis. - MyEntreNet – This is an entrepreneurship development system which creates community-based support networks for entrepreneurship, provides start up and existing companies with advanced technical assistance and training, and connects rural entrepreneurs with the financial resources they need to launch or grow small companies.
